Pupil Leadership
We believe in providing our students with opportunities to develop their voice, use their agency and actively lead in a range of contexts, in and out of school. From our youngest to our secondary learners, students are facilitated to understand their rights and responsibilities and develop the characteristic of caring and inclusive leaders. Students are encouraged to join our Eco-Warriors, Student Council as well as be involved in our Prefect and House System events and competitions.
Read Academy students are passionate about being leaders in their learning and role models in community and sustainability outreach. We are immensely proud of our pupil leaders and Read Academy’s student leadership development and SMSC learning set our learners up to become courageous, innovative and noble leaders in a range of disciplines and activities – everything from sports, the arts, debate, volunteering and sustainability.
